Statistics South Africa made a large effort to collect community data on household services. Mapping Worlds designed an interactive atlas to view the data on provincial, district council and municipal level. Maps, cartograms and scatter charts bring the data to life.

In their effort to promote official statistical data and its use, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia approached Mapping Worlds to create a visualisation tool geared towards a non-expert audience. In the Interactive Statistical Atlas of Slovenia users can rank municipalities or resize the map relative to key indicators.
Our maps and visualisations are designed to get users excited about data, and in so doing, help develop statistical literacy among different user groups.

The Dutch Statistical Office is exploring new ways to bring key data to the general public. Mapping Worlds was approached to suggest animated data interfaces on the international subjects of migration, tourism, adoption and trade.
We suggested four related animated displays with unique features that bring the data to life. All animations are based on time series and combine a world map with a line chart, allowing users to track changes over time. The animations adapt to content updates and are shown in Dutch and English.

Our National Statistics Kit provides customizable download options. Users can export data selections as an excel file, or save maps and charts as images that are ready to be pasted in documents or inserted into presentations.
The Agricultural Science & Technology Indicators Map Tool stimulates consumption of ASTI data by providing all these options to its users.
